Food (and more) Fresh From the Farm
Think of it as the best way to bring the fall harvest straight to your table. A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is when a farmer offers “shares” of their seasonal harvest directly to the public. Each share is like a membership or subscription you purchase upfront and, in return, receive a weekly or biweekly box (sometimes a basket or bag) filled with farm-fresh goods.
In the fall, that might mean crisp apples, hearty root vegetables, pumpkins, squashes, fresh greens, farm-raised meats, eggs, herbs, and even seasonal flowers. Every share is a taste of Kentucky’s harvest bounty!
